Vikas is currently working as Research Scholar under supervision of Dr. (Mrs) Aarti Mulay. His research work is majorly focused on development of economical expert system for conversion of CT/MRI scan data into 3D solid model, which further can be utilised for various applications viz. editing, development of implants, etc. He has Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Masters degree in Manufacturing Engineering & Automation, from College of Engineering, Pune.
He has experience more than 15 years in organizations like M.E.S. College Of Engineering, Pune, Kirloskar Pneumatics Co. Ltd., Kirloskar Consultants Pvt. Ltd, etc. at leading positions.
Currently, he is associated with Dr. Sunil M. Nadkarni, for development of novel mechanism for Minimum Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS).
