Saiprasad is a Mechanical Engineer with Masters of design in Mechanical Systems from IIITDM Kancheepuram.
Moulded with mechanical engineering backbone, a thorough study of users, products & their interaction has converted him into an insightful designer. Being trained at IIITDM, Kancheepuram, he has developed firm roots of problem identification, conceptualization, 3D design & prototyping with an essence of functionality as well as aesthetics. He was one of the finalists in Autodesk 3D design competition 2014.
He has previously worked with handful startup and established companies in a new product development ranging from mobile accessories, consumer electronics, medical device, IOT devices and smart door lock.
In 2015, one of his design work ‘Muconnect’- world’s first fast charging magnetic adapter, successfully crowdfunded and sold more than 16,000 units in 92 countries.
